Financial assistance to jobless families due to Covid-19 pandemic.
We are Beside You
On August 29, 2020, the Tasauf Foundation, out of deep compassion for the people, organized a financial assistance program ” we are beside you” for the unemployed people who lost their jobs due to the covid-19 pandemic. At the event, the foundation provided financial assistance to each of the 50 unemployed people to support their families.
We know that thousands of people are losing their lives in the recent covid-19 as well as millions of people are becoming unemployed. Thousands of children and adolescents are suffering from malnutrition and are being deprived of the light of education. In this situation, the organization is working tirelessly to keep this program running for at least the next 4 months and to conduct it on a larger scale.
Professor Dr. Nizamul Haque Bhuiyan of the Institute of Nutrition and Food Science, Dhaka University was present as the chief guest at the inaugural program. Air Commodore (Retd) Mr. Mahbub Jahan Khan, present Director (Planning & Training) Biman Bangladesh Airlines was the Special Guest. Syed Shahadat Hussain, Chairman of Tasauf Foundation, Syed Mashuka Kamal, Vice chairperson and all the directors and members were also present in the event. The program was conducted by the director of the Tasauf Foundation and the founding chairperson of the Department of of Meteorology of University of Dhaka, Prof. Dr. Towhida Rashid.
Syed Shahadat Hussain, Chairman, Tasauf Foundation, gave a welcome address and inaugurated the event. In his welcome speech he uttered “now is the time to stand by people,” . He said “prayer is for oneself and human service is to bring a smile to the face of the Creator”.
The honorable chief guest highly praised the efforts of the foundation and said, “the members of the foundation have stood by the people in this crisis in the country with their own funds which is a rare example of sacrifice and generosity.”
The Vice chairperson of the Tasauf Foundation thanked all the invited guests, members of the “we are beside you” and all the directors and members of the Tasauf Foundation. She concluded the program by uttering a slogan ” strong together! let’s help each other! give your share to show you care!!”

On September 26, 2020, the Tasauf Foundation organized the 2nd Phase of financial assistance program ” We are Beside You” for the unemployed people who lost their jobs due to the covid-19 pandemic. At the event, the foundation provided financial assistance to each of the 50 unemployed people to support their families. The 1st phase of the program was held on 29 August 2020.
We know that thousands of people are losing their lives in the recent covid-19 as well as millions of people are becoming unemployed. Thousands of children and adolescents are suffering from malnutrition and are being deprived of the light of education.In this situation, the organization is working tirelessly to keep this program running for at least the next 3 months and to conduct it on a larger scale.
